This test measures your exposure to mold toxins that standard blood tests miss. Knowing your mycotoxin levels helps you and your doctor determine if mold exposure is behind your symptoms and what to do about it. The Mycotoxin Panel uses a simple urine sample to detect 16 of the most clinically significant mycotoxins, including 9 produced by Stachybotrys, the mold commonly known as "black mold." Results are returned in an easy-to-read numeric format so you and your doctor can see exactly what's present and at what levels.

What's measured?

This test screens for 16 mycotoxins using competitive ELISA, a highly sensitive antibody-based detection method. Results are reported in parts-per-billion (ppb) and indicate whether each toxin was present, not present, or equivocal.

Ochratoxin A — produced by Aspergillus and Penicillium; linked to kidney disease and cancer with prolonged exposure

Aflatoxin Group (B1, G1, M1) — produced by Aspergillus species; carcinogenic, mutagenic, and linked to liver and kidney damage

Macrocyclic Trichothecene Group — produced by Stachybotrys ("black mold") and other species; commonly found in water-damaged buildings and HVAC systems

Gliotoxin-Derivative — produced by Aspergillus, Candida, and other species; has immunosuppressive properties and can damage DNA

Zearalenone — produced by Fusarium species; acts as an estrogen mimic and is linked to reproductive, immune, and blood-related harm
