More Info: The CBC with Differential is a measure of the number of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets in the blood, including the different types of white blood cells (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, basophils, and eosinophils). The amount of hemoglobin (substance in the blood that carries oxygen) and the hematocrit (the amount of whole blood that is made up of red blood cells) are also measured. A CBC with Differential is used to help diagnose and monitor many different conditions, including anemia and infection.
This Test Includes: Hematocrit, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), red cell distribution width (RDW), percentage and absolute differential counts, platelet count, red cell count, and white blood cell count (WBC).
Function: Used to evaluate status and function of many systems.
A purchase of this test includes a brief review with Dr. Bob. Scheduling will take place after ordering.
